Instructions for use

HRP-Protector™ is a dilution buffer for long-term storage of peroxidase-conjugates. This can be antibody-peroxidase-conjugates as well as Neutravidin- or Streptavidin-peroxidase-conjugates. (For stabilizing conjugates with Alkaline Phosphatase please use the Stabilizer AP-Protector™.) Conjugates can be diluted directly in HRP-Protector™ in end-user concentrations. Typical concentrations of conjugates are in between 40 and 500 ng/ml. HRP-Protector™ can be used directly as assay buffer in immunoassays.

HRP-Protector™ is designed for trouble free assays without interference. If you have background or false-positives – for example derived from cross reactivities, matrix effects or HAMA’s – we recommend using LowCross-Buffer® or LowCross-HRP® rather than HRP-Protector™ . Suitability of HRP-Protector™ for a specific assay has to be tested by the user.

Immediately before use the buffer should be mixed thoroughly.

HRP-Protector™ – long-term stabilization of peroxidase:
HRP-Protector™ contains stabilizing components for antibodies and for peroxidase. This makes HRP-Protector™ the ideal solution, if you want to store peroxidase-conjugates for a long period in a ready-to-use solution. Dilute the conjugates directly in HRP-Protector™.

Testing HRP-Protector™ with any new assay is recommended.

Stability data of one peroxidase-conjugate cannot be transferred to other conjugates. Therefore every conjugate has to be tested for its shelf life in HRP-Protector™. If HRP-Protector™ is used for immunodiagnostic kits, the shelf life has to be tested according to the current European directive for in-vitro-diagnostics or according to corresponding rules, which apply.
